Bhubaneswar, March 12 -- Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds tremendous potential to transform modern agriculture, but experts emphasized that its success depends heavily on strong data foundations.

At a two-day international symposium that concluded on Thursday at Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA), experts highlighted the need for diverse data sources for AI-driven agricultural systems including weather and climate records, remote sensing data, soil properties, farm observations, and sensor-based monitoring systems.
