Shirish Beri, today warned how despite the various advantages, AI lacks emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity and ethical judgement- qualities that are essential in human life as well as in architecture as a human centered discipline. In his speech at the 'One-Day National Conference on AI in Architecture: From Vision to Reality' being organized by the ICFAI School of Architecture (ISArch), a constituent of The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, here, Ar Shirish, who graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour, said AI is a double edged sword where it can be a boon or a bane to the entire mankind.
