New Delhi, March 5 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed hope that the Artificial Intelligence could contribute lakhs of crores to the Indian economy and in this direction, we have allocated Rs 500 crore for AI-driven education and research in the budget.
Addressing a post Budget webinar on Employment, the Prime Minister said, "To unlock AI's potential, India will set up a National large language model".
He noted that our private sector also needs to stay one step ahead of the world...adding the world is waiting for a reliable, safe and democratic country that can provide economical solutions in AI".
