New Delhi, March 9 -- Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu on Monday said that the final report on last year's Air India plane crash in Gujarat's Ahmedabad will be released by the end of this year.

Responding to a question during question hour in the Rajya Sabha, Naidu said the probe into the Air India crash is progressing rapidly.

"The Ministry of Civil Aviation is providing all necessary resources to the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB), which is conducting the probe," the minister said, adding that, the final report will be available by the end of this year.
