Hyderabad, Nov. 6 -- Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught an Agriculture Extension Officer red-handed while accepting a bribe in Mahabubabad district on Thursday.

According to the ACB statement, G Sandeep (29), Agriculture Extension Officer at the office of the Mandal Agriculture Officer, Anepuram village in Marripade mandal, was trapped by ACB's Warangal Range team around 1205 hours at Laxmareddy Bakery, Marripade.

He was caught while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a complainant for processing and forwarding the Rythu Bheema compensation file of the complainant's father to higher officials for approval.
