Dharamsala, Dec. 17 -- Himachal Pradesh's Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister Prof. Chandra Kumar inspected the underconstruction office building of the Additional Director of Agriculture in Dharamsala.

The minister said the building, being constructed at a cost of about Rs 253 lakh, would be dedicated to the public soon. He said the facility would house the office of the Additional Director of Agriculture along with a Geospatial Information System (GIS) Centre, which would assist in crop area assessment, production forecasting, evaluation of losses due to natural calamities such as drought and hailstorms, and scientific analysis of agricultural data.
