Parbhani, May 29 -- Maharashtra State Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday directed that agricultural universities in the state should prepare models for the effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to increase the yield of major crops.
He was speaking on the inaugural function of the 53rd meeting of the Joint Agricultural Research and Development Committee organized by Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University and Maharashtra Agricultural Education and Research Council in Parbhani which was inaugurated by him on today.
He said that ,research is expected on climate change, pest management, and making varieties that can withstand droughts available to farmers.
