Kanpur, Sept. 18 -- Uttar Pradesh Governor and Chancellor of State Universities Anandiben Patel today, while advocating for the promotion of organic farming, said that agricultural costs must be reduced to double farmers' income.
A total of 649 students were awarded degrees and 49 meritorious students were felicitated with 63 medals and awards at the 27th convocation of the Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology here, presided over by Chancellor Anandiben Patel. 14 of the best performing students were awarded Chancellor's Gold Medals, 14 received University Silver Medals, 14 received University Bronze Medals, and 21 received sponsored Gold Medals.
