Agra, Aug. 21 -- The water level of the Yamuna is rising rapidly and the water has started reaching close to the Taj Mahal.
In the next one or two days, the water may touch the wall of the Taj Mahal. On normal days, the water of the Yamuna is at a considerable distance from the Taj Mahal, but due to the release of water from Gokul Barrage and Hathini Kund, the water is near the Taj Mahal boundary wall.
The water in Yamuna may be reaching dangerous levels, but this has increased the beauty of the Taj Mahal even more.
District Magistrate Arvind Malappa Bangari during the day said the water level in Yamuna has reached very close to its danger mark.
