Imphal, Aug. 25 -- A Guest Faculty Lecturer of Manipur University (MU) has complained
to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the alleged arbitrary removal by the Administrator of
the University.
In a letter to the PM, Ningombam Bupenda Meitei said he was disgracefully and arbitrarily removed from being a Guest Faculty, hardly before two months of the six months tenure, as
offered by Manipur University, which is a central varsity.
The nature of engagement with the University was not non-academic, therefore, he could
not be considered as a part of non-teaching staff of the University. He was neither a teaching
nor a non-teaching employee of the University as per the agreement and the rules. Other
