Chandigarh, Nov. 17 -- The inquiry into the Delhi blast widened on Monday with a bomb squad team inspecting a house in Haryana's Nuh that was rented by suicide bomber Umar Nabi days before the incident.

Officers examined the interior of the room and conducted searches in the surrounding locality as part of the evidence-gathering exercise.

Investigators said the accommodation was arranged by Shoaib, an electrician employed at Al-Falah University in Faridabad, who is currently in custody. The house belongs to his sister-in-law, Afsana, who is absconding. Umar is believed to have stayed there for around ten days before the explosion.
