Agartala, Sept. 22 -- In the third year of executing the modernization and face-lifting
projects, Agartala has ranked 68th among the Smart Cities of the country by Ministry
of Housing and Urban Affairs.
According to report, the city scored 47.43 points and became second in the
Northeastern states after Kohima, which ranked 62 with the score of 55.82 in 100
points development scale.
Officials here today said that this year there has been a remarkable improvement
in Smart City project in Agartala. Among the 100 Smart Cities, Agartala had ranked
77 with the total score of 28.84 in March this year but within second quarter of it's
rank improved to 68.
