Agartala, June 12 -- The police on Thursday produced a medical graduate from Bangladesh along with five others, including his parents, before a local court here seeking their custody for killing a 24 year-old youth in Indranagar area of the city and storing the body in an ice-cream freezer.
The police suspect the murder was a result of a love triangle.
Based on the statement of the prime accused, Dibakar Saha (29), the police on Wednesday found the body in a fridge -- stuffed in a bag. Saha reportedly admitted to the crime and stated that he, along with Animesh Yadav (21), Nabanit Das (25), and Jaydeep Das (20), strangulated Sariful Islam, an electrician of Agartala Smart City Project, to death on June 8 night.
