Visakhapatnam, Sept. 14 -- union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries B.Srinivasa Varma today said that against the Trump tariffs, swadeshi programme ' Khadee Santha' will be conducted in all Districts, and in the state capital of Amaravati it will be promoted in big way on Gandhi Jayanthi on October 2.
"We invited Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pavan Kalyan for the programme," Varma said in a press conference here.
He said some tough decisions are being implemented to bring the Visakhapatnam steel plant from losses to profits. Irresponsible party leaders are making meaningless allegations that the steel plant would be privatized, he alleged.
