Chennai, Feb. 2 -- Having already sounded the poll bugle that his party was ready for alliance in the crucial 2026 Assembly polls and share power, the nascent and fledgling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) of actor Vijay stepped into the second year on Sunday.

To mark eventful completion of one year of his party, formed this day last year amid much fanfare and high expectations, the actor, in a letter to the party cadres, called for treading new political path in 2026 (meaning/hinting victory in Assembly polls).
