Chennai, March 7 -- After filing a divorce plea, actor-politician Vijay's wife Sangeetha on Saturday filed a new petition before the Chengalpattu Family Court seeking financial support and accommodation.
The petition was part of the divorce plea seeking dissolution of her marriage solemnized on August 25, 1999 under Sec 27 (1)(a)(b)(d) of the Special Marriage Act, 1954, alleging that Vijay was having extra marital relations with an actress, besides payment of fair and reasonable permanent alimony, commensuare with his income and social standing.
