Chennai, Oct. 31 -- Met office tonight said the Northeast monsoon rains, whcihhad battered several dsitricts under the influence of Cyclone Montha, was expectedto be below normal in Tamil Nadu by 35 to 40 per cent during the month of November,while it will be above normal in Northern districts.
In an update, Met office in an outlook on Monthly Rainfall over Tamilnadu, Puducherryand Karaikal during November, said based on statistical forecasting system and mutimodel ensemble forecasting system approach including Monsoon Mission CoupledForecasting System model, the rains will be normal.
