Sambhal, Oct. 25 -- The 24-Kosi Parikrama (circumambulation) covering 68 sacred sites and 19 ancient wells began yesterday at 2am today from the historic Shri Vansh Gopal site in Benipur Chak in the City of Kalki in the presence of devotees, reports said today.
Amid the sound of conch shells, devotional songs, and chants of victory, this pilgrimage has resumed after 46 years. Interrupted in 1978 due to communal riots, the tradition was revived in 2024 through the efforts of the Yogi Adityanath government.
