Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, Jan. 20 -- After a gap of 42 years, a 12-member contingent of the Sea Cadet Corps (SCC), a non-government voluntary youth organisation, will march down Kartavya Path alongside the Indian Navy's tableaux during the upcoming 77th Republic Day Parade, marking a proud and historic return of the cadets to the national celebration.
Headed by the Sea Cadet Council - which is a public registered charitable trust with persons from the navy, industry and shipping administers - the SSC was formed by Gokaldas Ahuja in Karachi on 13th May 1938.
