Chennai, Aug. 6 -- In a significant achievement, Tamil Nadu has recorded double digit
economic growth in real terms after a gap of 14 years.
Announcing this Chief Minister and ruling DMK President M K Stalin said Tamil Nadu
has recorded a staggering grwth of 11.19 per cent--the highest in the country.
Last time, the state touched double dight growth was in 2010-11 under the leadership of
then Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and today the DMK's Dravidian Model Government,
following the path shown by Mr Karunanidhi, has repeated theit feat.
On both the occasions, it was the DMK government at the helm, Mr Stalin declared.
