Vijayawada, Oct. 12 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today said that spurious liquor brewers followed the South Africa model and the State Government has introduced 'AP Excise Suraksha App' to curb spurious liquor menace and the App will help to trace the manufacturing and selling details of the liquor bottle.
Addressing media persons at his camp office at Undavalli near here, the Chief Minister explained that the shop owner should scan the bottle before selling the bottle to consumers. The consumer also can scan the bottle to know whether it is real one or spurious liquor.
The Minister noted the App would help to curb the belt shops menace also as the shop will be geo tagged.
