Kabul/Islamabad, March 13 -- The Afghan Taliban has said it carried out drone strikes on Pakistani military positions in the Kohat district of the bordering Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The ministry said a drone struck a military fort and a command centre in Kohat. Video footage released by the Taliban appeared to show a drone approaching the reported target sites.
The attack came in response to an overnight strike by Pakistan in Kabul's Pul-e-Charkhi area, which killed four civilians and injured 14 others.
Earlier on Friday, Taliban officials said Pakistani aircraft had carried out air strikes across several Afghan provinces, including Kabul, Kandahar, Paktia and Paktika.
