Kabul, Dec. 14 -- Police have destroyed thousands of kilograms of illegal drugs, including heroin and opium, collected over the past year in Afghanistan's eastern Ghazni province, said a statement of the Ministry of Interior Affairs today.
The public destruction was witnessed by officials, the statement said.
