Kabul, July 2 -- Police have arrested 21 alleged criminals over the past 24 hours across Afghanistan, the country's Ministry of Interior Affairs said today.
"All the arrested 21 criminals involved in theft, murder, and gambling were arrested from Herat, Balkh, Nuristan, Paktika and Khost provinces," the ministry said in a statement posted on its X account.
Police have also discovered nine pieces of assault rifles and two pieces of anti-vehicle mines from the northern Sari Pul and eastern Paktia provinces, respectively, the statement added.
