Hyderabad, Dec. 1 -- The 33rd Annual Conference of the Agricultural Economics Research Association (AERA) commenced on Monday at NAARM, Hyderabad, centred on the theme "Innovations in Agribusiness, Empowering Women, and Climate-Resilient Agriculture."The conference brings together experts, researchers, industry representatives and scholars from across India to discuss emerging challenges and opportunities in the agriculture sector.

NITI Aayog Member Ramesh Chand, who attended as Chief Guest, said innovation in agribusiness triggers change and improvement, making both progress and innovation mutually reinforcing.

He emphasised that rural women must have market access to sell their produce, enabling real economic empowerment.
