Tirumala, Jan. 12 -- The Adhyayanotsavams at the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, which began on December 19, concluded here on Monday. On this occasion, Sri Malayappa Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi was seated at the Ranganayakula Mandapam, where Divya Prabandha recitations were performed.
For the past 25 days, Srivaishnava Jeeyangars recited the 4,000 sacred verses (Divya Prabandham) composed by the 12 Alwars every day as an offering to the Sri Venkateshwara.
As it was the final day, the "Tanneeramudu" ritual was held.
After the conclusion of the festival, on January 13, Sri Malayappa Swamy with Sridevi and Bhudevi will proceed to the Sri Tirumala Nambi Temple in the South Mada Street.
