Hyderabad, July 17 -- A high-level committee meeting on prisoner production and escort was held at the DGP Office on Thursday, where ADGP (Law & Order) Mahesh M Bhagwat, issued several important directions to improve the prisoner escort system across Telangana.
Appreciating the efforts of all units for achieving 100 per cent prisoner production, the ADGP stressed the need for better coordination with officials from other states and directed that radio messages for escort requests be sent at least a week in advance to avoid last-minute issues.
