Dhaka, June 20 -- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Thursday approved a $400 million loan to Bangladesh to enhance its climate-resilient projects, cut emissions, and promote sustainable-inclusive development. The loans marks a cofinancing venture with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
The funding supports the second phase of 'Climate-Resilient Inclusive Development Program (CRIDP)', which include nearly $113 million in cofinancing from the Agence Francaise de Developpement, and $400 million from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), as per the ADB.
