Bhubaneshwar, Jan. 6 -- With an objective to strengthen livelihoods and entrepreneurship among rural women, Adani Foundation, the CSR arm of Gopalpur Port, launched a training programme for women members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Producer Groups (PGs) in the peripheral panchayats of Gopalpur Port.
The three-day long training programme for the first batch of 60 women SHG and PG members was started today. Same training will also be extended to other Gram Panchayats including Aryapalli, Kalipalli, Sriramchandrapur and Camakhandi. The programme is designed to benefit around 300 women SHG and PG members across these panchayats.
