Bengaluru, March 24 -- The Karnataka Legislative Council on Tuesday witnessed a sharp political face-off centred on the operations of the Adani Group, with allegations that its subsidiary ACC Limited continued mining in Kalaburagi despite massive pending dues and an expired lease.
The issue, raised during Question Hour, quickly turned into a broader attack on the government's handling of the Adani-linked firm, with both Congress and BJP members questioning why stringent action had not been taken against the company.
