New Delhi, Feb. 3 -- In a significant move to establish a fully integrated helicopter manufacturing ecosystem in India, Adani Defence and Aerospace on Tuesday entered into a strategic partnership with Italian aerospace major Leonardo. The collaboration aims to address the rotary-wing requirements of the Indian Armed Forces, with a particular focus on Leonardo's advanced AW169M and AW109 TrekkerM helicopters.
The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the national capital which will boost the indigenised 'Make In India' efforts, especially in the defence.
