Chennai, Feb. 14 -- In a surprise development, Veteran actor Gautami Tadimalla on Wednesday joined the AIADMK ahead of the ensuing Lok Sabha polls.
She joined the AIADMK in the presence of the party general secretary, Edappadi K. Palaniswami.
AIADMK sources said her joining the party would bolster the victory prospects of the party.
Ms. Gautami, who was with the BJP for 25 years, had quit the national party in October last year.
