New Delhi, Sept. 24 -- Bollywood actor Sonu Sood today appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case linked to the banned betting application 1xBet. The probe is being conducted under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
Officials said an elite ED team will question Sood, and that the session could last up to seven hours.
Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh and web-series 'Gandii Baat' actress Anveshi Jain were also questioned in the case yesterday. Several celebrities have been summoned by the agency as part of its ongoing investigation.
