Pathanamthitta, May 5 -- Malayalam actor Santhosh Nair passed away while undergoing treatment following a road accident at Enathu in this district of Kerala early this morning.
The accident occurred when the car he was travelling in collided with a lorry. He sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the hospital. His wife, Shubhashree, who was with him in the vehicle, was also injured in the mishap.
While under treatment, Santhosh Nair suffered a heart attack, which proved fatal. The lorry driver involved in the accident also sustained injuries.
