Hyderabad, Nov. 13 -- Telangana Forest Minister Konda Surekha received relief on Thursday after film actor Akkineni Nagarjuna withdrew the defamation case he had filed against her in the Nampally People's Representatives Court.

The controversy began when the minister, while criticising BRS working president K T Rama Rao, made remarks referring to the divorce of actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. Taking serious objection, Nagarjuna filed a defamation case, which has been under judicial examination.
