Los Angeles, Dec. 1 -- Actor Josh Brolin has spoken candidly about his former friendship with US President Donald Trump, saying he remembers Trump as a very different person before his time in the White House.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Dune actor addressed speculation that his character Monsignor Wicks in 'Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery' was inspired by Trump.

Brolin dismissed the rumor, though he joked, "I could pretend it came from a kind of Trump-like greed.
