Bengaluru, Oct. 30 -- In a dramatic development in the Dharmasthala mass burial case, the activists who initially lodged the complaint have now approached the Karnataka High Court seeking to quash the very FIR registered on their own petition.

According to reports, the activists have filed a plea urging the court to annul the FIR registered under Section 211(A) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Dharmasthala police station. The case, which earlier alleged mass burials and mysterious deaths near the Dharmasthala temple, took a new turn after the Special Investigation Team (SIT) found no evidence supporting the claims.
