Meerut, Feb. 26 -- An active member of infamous Lawrence Bishnoi gang was killed in an encounter with the Gautam Buddha Nagar unit of the Special Task Force (STF) and Meerut police in Mudhali area of Meerut district in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.
An official spokesman here said that two STF sleuths were also injured in the encounter and have been admitted to the hospital.
"On October 22, 2023, a member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang and a contract killer Jitendra alias Jeetu along with his accomplices shot dead Pramod Kasana in Ghaziabad district," he said.
