Mumbai, Feb. 20 -- Maharashtra BJP President Ravindra Chavan said on Friday that disciplinary action will be taken against Narayan Chaudhary and the corporators who rebelled against the party whip during the mayoral election of the Bhiwandi-Nizampur Municipal Corporation.

Chavan was speaking at a press conference at the party office after inaugurating the BJP's state-level worker training camp. Chavan stated that Narayan Chaudhary's name had initially been forwarded by the local committee of Bhiwandi with a majority recommendation for the mayoral post.
