Bengaluru, June 6 -- Karnataka Minister HK Patil on Friday emphasised that the government has taken strict action not only against police officials but also against other stakeholders responsible for the stampede at the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) event that led to 11 deaths.
"Who says we have solely blamed the police? We have directed legal action, including arrests, against the RCB officials. The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) must take immediate and strict action. The event management company DNA and others involved must also face prompt investigation and arrests," Patil told reporters.
