Lucknow, Aug. 28 -- On the instructions of Uttar Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Brajesh Pathak, four doctors of Lucknow have been dismissed from the services on charges of indiscipline and remaining continuously absent without information, an official spokesman said here today.

The spokesman said that a data entry operator has also been removed from the job. "Dismissal proceedings have been initiated against the remaining six doctors," he said.

He said that Dr Shilpi Gupta of Neelmatha Urban PHC, Lucknow, Dr Kirti Rai of Kallan Kheda Urban Ayushman Mandir, Dr Mohsin Raza of Chaupattia, Dr Mustakul Afreen Qureshi of Katra Visionveg and data entry operator Sarita Kumari have been dismissed.
