Nanded, Oct. 19 -- A brother and sister, both software engineers, died instantly in a devastating three-vehicle collision near Hadgaon town in Nanded district.
The victims were identified as Manoj Ramrao Degure (34) and his sister Manjusha Devidas Ahinwar (27), both residents of Latur district.
The tragic incident occurred at Bhanegaon Phata on the Tuljapur-Nagpur National Highway, about eight kilometres from Hadgaon city.
According to preliminary information, road repair work was in progress at the site, where a JCB machine was stationed on the roadway. An Eicher truck travelling at high speed collided with the stationary JCB, and moments later, a four-wheeler carrying the Degure family crashed into the Eicher truck.
