Ranchi, Sept. 28 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today launched raids at six premises linked to Nexgen Automobile owner Vinay Kumar Singh in connection with an illegal land mutation case in Hazaribagh.
Searches were carried out at Singh's residence, showroom, and other establishments as part of an ongoing investigation into a 2013 scam involving government forest land.
The case had surfaced in 2013 when the Hazaribagh Deputy Commissioner's office declared the mutation of five plots illegal and subsequently cancelled them. The decision was later upheld by the Jharkhand Revenue and Land Reforms Department the same year.
