Bengaluru, July 13 -- Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials, continuing their war against corruption, have arrested two Senior Labour Inspectors of Karnataka Labour Department and seized Rs 13,09,500 cash, one Laptop, 4 Mobile phones and 3 Pen drives during a raid conducted on Department's Skill Development office in the City.

According to a press release by ACB here on Saturday the arrested were identified as N V Govindarajulu and Ventakesh (both Senior Labour Inspectors).

The raid was conducted following a complaint that Labour Officer Shivananda, Senior Labour Inspectors Govindarajulu, Venkatesh and Chavan have indulged in corruption and have amassed wealth disproportionate to their known sources of income, the ACB release added. A ...
