Hyderabad, June 13 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has issued fresh notices to BRS Working President and former Minister K T Rama Rao (KTR), asking him to appear for questioning on Monday at 1000 hours in connection with the Formula E Race corruption case.
KTR was earlier summoned on May 28, but did not appear, citing his foreign tour in the United States. He informed the ACB that he would be available after returning, and the bureau has now sent a second notice.
The Formula E race, held in Hyderabad during the previous BRS regime, has come under scrutiny for alleged misuse of Rs 55 crore in public funds. KTR has been named as Accused No. 1 (A1) in the case, with IAS officer Arvind Kumar (A2) and former HMDA Chief Engineer BLN Reddy (...
