Ranchi, Dec. 11 -- The investigation into the alleged liquor scam in Jharkhand has intensified, with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) continuing its interrogation of IAS officer Amit Kumar, a former Commissioner of Excise and former Managing Director of the Jharkhand State Beverages Corporation Limited (JSBCL) for the fourth consecutive day.
Amit Kumar, who is currently serving as the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, was summoned after the ACB reportedly found his earlier responses unsatisfactory. He was questioned for the third straight day on Tuesday, and once again on Wednesday, as investigators sought detailed clarification on various aspects of the case.
