Hyderabad, Aug. 30 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered a case of Disproportionate Assets (DA) against Bandi Nageswara Rao, Tahsildar of Fort Warangal mandal in Warangal district, for allegedly amassing assets far beyond his known sources of income.
According to an ACB statement here on Saturday, searches were carried out at seven locations, including the residence of the accused officer (AO), his family members, office and other premises.
Preliminary findings revealed possession of house properties worth Rs. 1.15 crore, agricultural land documents covering 17 acres and 10 guntas valued at Rs. 1.42 crore, gold ornaments weighing 70 thulas worth Rs. 23.84 lakh, silver articles of 1,791 grams worth Rs. 92,000, vehicles includi...
