Ranchi, Dec. 15 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has made a major breakthrough in the Jharkhand liquor scam with the arrest of Jagan Tukaram Desai, director of Marshan Innovative Security Services Private Limited.
Desai was arrested in Vadodara of Gujarat and brought here on transit remand on Sunday.
According to ACB officials, Desai was produced before a Vadodara court, which granted transit remand following the agency's application. He was thereafter brought to Ranchi for further investigation.
The ACB said Desai had earlier been issued multiple notices to appear for questioning, but he failed to comply.
