Darbhanga, May 3 -- Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), in a major catch, arrested Assistant Garrison Engineer(AGE) of Indian Air Force Station Kaushlesh Kumar while he was accepting Rs 50,000 as a bribe from a contractor in Darbhanga district of Bihar on Saturday.
Official sources said here that a team of ACB had reached Patna to carry out the operation. As Kaushlesh was receiving Rs 50,000 as a bribe from a contractor for clearing the bill, he was caught red-handed by the team of ACB, sources added.
Aif Force officials were tight-lipped on the issue when asked, and they only said that an investigation was in progress. Commandant Ravish Kumar refused to divulge any details but confirmed the arrest of the engineer.
