New Delhi, Oct. 2 -- On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organised a cleanliness drive and tree plantation programme across the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus today.
The event saw participation from the organisation's various school units and hostels where it holds influence. Students were involved in cleaning different parts of the campus, removing garbage, and planting new saplings.
Slogans such as "swachch bharat, swasthya bhaat" (clean India, healthy India) and "harit parisar, swaksh parisar" (green surroundings, clean surroundings) were raised during the drive.
